Since 1974, Press-Rite, Inc. has been manufacturing quality closet door and shutter hardware. Prior to 1990, all of our products were sold exclusively under the label Crawford Manufacturing. In 1990 Press-Rite, Inc. acquired Crawford Manufacturing and continued to manufacture the same quality hardware under our own label.

Although, our concentration has been on supplying customers in the Southeastern states, our product quality and prompt service has earned us many loyal customers nationwide.

This online catalog represents only the standard items that we manufacture. If you should have the need for a special component, we have the capability to manufacture custom parts in our tooling and stamping facility.

Here are a few words about the types of products we offer:

Standard Bi-Fold: 

HD Premium Grade Bi-Fold:  

This is our best quality hardware and it can be used with two-door, four-door, or multiple door units. These hardware sets features our adjustable four-wheel ball-bearing hanger giving it a smoother and more effortless operation than any in its class. This hardware is used in conjunction with our aluminum 800 track.

Bi fold door hardware is what enables two doors connected with hinges to fold together. The better the closet door hardware the smoother and more peaceful the door moves on the track. This is one reason to use HD Premium Grade Bi-Fold it’s at the top of its class for reliability.

 Bi-pass door hardware: 

This hardware features pivot-adjusting v-wheel hangers for smooth and quiet operation. Bi-Pass doors slide past each other within the door frame, as opposed to being hinged. This is why the track is the most important part of the doors ability to function correctly. Our bypass door hardware is used in conjunction with our aluminum 235 track.

Bi-Pass w/Fascia: 

The bypass door hardware featured here has pivot-adjusting v-wheel hangers for smooth and quiet operation. The track has a built-in fascia and is used in conjunction with our aluminum 245 track. This contributes to a self-cleaning, self-centering door track.  

HD Premium Grade Bi-Pass: 

This is our best quality hardware and it can be used with two-door or multiple door units and it can also be used for replacement closet door hardware. Rolling door hardware is one of many top quality items we have to offer.

The hardware set features our adjustable 2-wheel ball-bearing hanger for doors up to 100lbs. or our 4-wheel ball-bearing hanger for doors up to 150lbs. Our ball bearing hangers operate smoother and more effortless than any in their class. This hardware is used in conjunction with our aluminum 2300 track.
